Arvesta supports farmers and agri-businesses in Belgium (and beyond) via a broad portfolio of services and brands — Nuverta being one of their strategic investments into alternative proteins. Nuverta’s core business is producing plant-based ingredients derived from yellow peas. More specifically :
Pea protein concentrates / pea-derived proteins — high-quality protein extracted from locally grown yellow peas. These proteins are rich in protein and fiber.
Pea starch — starch extracted from the peas.
Pea-derived fibres — dietary fibers obtained alongside proteins and starch during processing.
