Perishables Logistics & the Fly’In Farm Border Control Post (PCF)

To ensure food safety in Belgium and Europe, imported perishable goods undergo inspection at Border Control Posts (PCF).

Liège Airport operates its own PCF: the Fly’In Farm, where veterinarians from the Federal Agency for the Safety of the Food Chain (AFSCA) conduct most controls. They also perform daily inspections inside handlers’ warehouses.
